Crazy Days

This is the first post on this beauteous blog. These past two weeks have been crazy!! Our dearest cousins from "The Desert" (aka California) have been up here on vacation for two weeks on vacation. We've been to movies: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, Hancock, Swing Vote, and The Dark Knight (because of Heath Ledger), Cafe Rio, Iceberg, and Arctic Circle about a thousand times...and also we went to Lagoon because we had a whole lotta free passes around. We got there when it opened and went on all the water rides such as Rattlesnake Rapids and the lame (in my opinion) Log Ride. BORING! So we all changed clothes and went on the more faster rides. The Bat, Terror Ride, Cliffhanger (my favorite), the white Rollercoaster, Colossus, and a few others. Then we got the bright idea to go on Wicked because we wanted to save it for last - also we were too chicken to go on it at first - and it turnd out to be the favorite. We went on it five times but couldn't go on it anymore because Lagoon-A-Beach was closing and that was where all out stuff was stashed.
Also, our grandma was sitting there all day and had to listen to the stupid pre-recorded message that was played there every few minutes. We all have it memorized because we were laughing so hard about it. The one that topped it all was: "If you have or have had diharrea in the past two weeks, do not enter the pool or water slide....if you have children who are three or under, they must wear water diapers..." and i don't quite remember the best part because i don't have perfect recall but it wen't along the lines of "if you are old, wear your Depends!" And we were all laughing and joking on how Grandma said that it would be funny if someone wore a black one-piece swim-suit and put an old-person diaper (depends) over it and pull it up really high...EW!
We saw many 'colorful' people at Lagoon. One lady was wearing her hair all but frozen with hairspray about six inches from her head. It looked hysterical! And what made it even funnier was that the front part was bleached white-blonde and the back part was dark, dark brown. Yikes!!
