Josh Groban

Today, at 7:30 pm, it will be exactly one year since I went to the Josh Groban Awake Tour Concert in Salt Lake City with Alisha!!!!!

All day, i wore my concert shirt and have been listening to Josh Groban music and all that jazz. I got the concert tickets for my birthday last year and cried because...well...it's a long story.

One day, i was out at my grandmas in Herriman and i was looking at her newspaper and suddenly...*BAM*...there it was.. It was a concert ad for the concert...and it had a pic of Josh on it and a whole bunch of details. I showed my mom and she said that she would try to buy the tickets but then the next day...she said they were too expensive...i was SO sad! But, it turns out that she had bought me and Alisha tickets even before i had seen the ad so i was set...i just didn't know it yet.

I cut out the pic of Josh and hung it on my wall...it's still there today. The concert was awesome..as always! and when we yelled, "We love you Josh!" he yelled, "Love you guys too!" right back up to us!!! Ah! and it turns out that our concert was the concert that was going to be filmed and made into a dvd...of course i bought the dvd...who wouldn't???? Now THAT is a very good question...

Crazed-Fan

I am obsessed....along with my cousin..but we prefer the term, "Crazed-Fan" instead of
"Obsessed" because then we just sound insane about Heath Ledger. And i for one, don't want to be known as insane. And JUST because we stalk him doesn't mean we're obsessed...just kidding...we don't stalk him...silly us!
We saw The Dark Knight 3 times, naturally, and all in about a week and a half, because Heath was in it and did a fantastiglorical job as the Joker. In fact, we just got back from seeing it...and we stayed in the theatre until his lovely, lovely, name went up the screen. Oh! Did i mention that we screamed? And took a picture of it?
Today is the day that my cousins go home...and i've been thinking about the fun we had. One day, we spent on youtube watching Heath tribute videos, and recording them on our phones..the next, we went and bought some of Heath's sunglasses...which are FABULOUS!
Then we spent a day, which my cousin called a "Heath Movie Marathon" when we watched most of his videos after seeing Dark Knight...okay, so we're a little obsessed but we still like "Crazed-Fan".

Crazy Days

This is the first post on this beauteous blog. These past two weeks have been crazy!! Our dearest cousins from "The Desert" (aka California) have been up here on vacation for two weeks on vacation. We've been to movies: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, Hancock, Swing Vote, and The Dark Knight (because of Heath Ledger), Cafe Rio, Iceberg, and Arctic Circle about a thousand times...and also we went to Lagoon because we had a whole lotta free passes around. We got there when it opened and went on all the water rides such as Rattlesnake Rapids and the lame (in my opinion) Log Ride. BORING! So we all changed clothes and went on the more faster rides. The Bat, Terror Ride, Cliffhanger (my favorite), the white Rollercoaster, Colossus, and a few others. Then we got the bright idea to go on Wicked because we wanted to save it for last - also we were too chicken to go on it at first - and it turnd out to be the favorite. We went on it five times but couldn't go on it anymore because Lagoon-A-Beach was closing and that was where all out stuff was stashed.
Also, our grandma was sitting there all day and had to listen to the stupid pre-recorded message that was played there every few minutes. We all have it memorized because we were laughing so hard about it. The one that topped it all was: "If you have or have had diharrea in the past two weeks, do not enter the pool or water slide....if you have children who are three or under, they must wear water diapers..." and i don't quite remember the best part because i don't have perfect recall but it wen't along the lines of "if you are old, wear your Depends!" And we were all laughing and joking on how Grandma said that it would be funny if someone wore a black one-piece swim-suit and put an old-person diaper (depends) over it and pull it up really high...EW!
We saw many 'colorful' people at Lagoon. One lady was wearing her hair all but frozen with hairspray about six inches from her head. It looked hysterical! And what made it even funnier was that the front part was bleached white-blonde and the back part was dark, dark brown. Yikes!!
